The hosts were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 32-22 Unza P.'s run in the last quarter cut the lead to 78-75 at the end of the game. GNBC made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Unza P. turnovers. It was a good game for guard Constant Mandimbison (190-90) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. The game was mostly controlled by Fer.Maputo. Cobra managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fer.Maputo dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Cobra's 34. Fer.Maputo forced 24 Cobra turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Center Helton Ubisse (201-95) stepped up and scored 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Spanish Alvaro Calvo (202-83, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Fer.Maputo's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Alonga Yak (185-97) with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Stephen Rumudu (-93) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds.

The game without a history. Patriots led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to JKT's 34. Patriots forced 23 JKT turnovers and outrebounded them 65-36 including a 41-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by JKT's players. The best player for the winners was American power forward George Blakeney (206-91, college: UNC Pembroke) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds. American-Rwandan guard Kenny Gasana (195-84, college: Boise St.) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. Five Patriots players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Baraka Athumani (-94) who recorded 29 points and Ugandan center Haji Mbegu (-98) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
